In the Corrèze (Xantrie), situated in the foothills of the Massif Central between forests, hills and the rivers Dordogne and Maronne, and surrounded by the magnificent setting of the village of St. Cirgues la Loutre, you will find our Auberge des Ruines de Merle.

Auberge des Ruines de Merle is a traditional “Chambres d’hôtes” (bed and breakfast) and “Table d’hôtes” (guest at the table). The owner of this piece of France pure and simple is Jan Kinkel. Throughout the year he offers you Dutch hospitality in combination with French-European cooking.

The accommodation is pleasant and has a typical French atmosphere. There are five double rooms. All rooms have comfortable beds and a bathroom with shower and toilet. A comfortable dining room with French windows and a separate lounge/bar with a small library and fireplace are located near the entrance.

Facilities: Internet, satellite television, garden with sun terrace, deck chairs and fixed barbecue, laundry, fully equipped work-shop for (racing) bikes.

You can also hire mountain bikes and buy fishing licences.
